On May 15, 2024, the Convention Committee learned that the Clover Island Inn had been sold to a new out-of-state owner that is with a hotel group of Hilton’s Hotels. The Convention Chair has talked with their Director of Sales and Marketing, and she has told us that Hilton is honoring all previously scheduled events. There will not be the “Crows Nest Bar & Grill”, their restaurant, during our convention. C & G House Catering has been contracted to host all the meals and events until the restaurant reopens. They have years of catering experience in the Tri’Cities. On Clover Island within close walking distance there are two other restaurants, Ice Harbor Brewery & Grill (open for lunch and dinner), Cedars at Pier One (open for dinner only). There are several more restaurants/eateries/bakeries within a mile of the hotel on Columbia Drive, the road that leads to Clover Island. A list of these are on page 2 of Newsletter #3 with their “Tripadvisor” rating..
